Booming Games is seeking a skilled Frontend Game Developer to join our remote-first team building online casino slots. You will implement game features from GDDs, manage tasks in Jira, and ensure high-quality code with emphasis on performance and asset optimization.

The role requires strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills, experience with PixiJS or Phaser, and fluent English. You will work with a distributed team, contributing to a fast-paced development cycle and regular product demos.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Game Development experience and 5+ years overall development.
• Fluent in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6) and HTML5/CSS3.
• Highly experienced with PixiJS, Phaser, or equivalent.
• Complete fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with Spine animations, including optimization.

Responsibilities

• Translate GDD features into HTML5 game presentations.
• Break down features into a WBS and create JIRA tickets.
• Implement game features using TypeScript; write well-typed code with JSDoc.
• Follow best practices; ensure maintainable, well-documented code.
• Collaborate with Game Producers, Art Directors, and QA.
• Utilize Webpack for bundling and asset optimization.
• Maintain GitLab CI workflows for deployment and testing.
• Address QA defects with urgency and communicate findings.
• Demonstrate game progress through demos for Product Owners.
