Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing leader to supervise policy development and drive strategy across the organisation’s projects. The role focuses on compliance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement of HSW practices.

You will oversee budgeting, audits, reporting, and strategic alignment with Ferrovial’s global safety standards, contributing to a safe, productive work environment across multiple sites and affiliates.

Qualifications

• Supervise the development and enforcement of Health, Safety & Wellbeing policies, guidelines and protocols.
• Lead the Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy formation and implementation across departments.
• Shape group strategy by applying HSW expertise to test viability and support strategy formation.
• Provide expert health, safety & wellbeing advice to project teams and business leaders.
• Develop and implement annual HSW plans aligned with strategic goals and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSW audit and compliance programs, oversee risk assessments and inspections.
• Manage budgeting for the HSW department and allocate resources effectively.
• Oversee insights and reporting to inform decisions and improve HSW strategies.
• Represent Ferrovial in industry forums to promote brand and initiatives within the affiliate.
• Identify stakeholders at managerial level and lead engagement plans for communications.
• Lead internal initiatives to improve regulatory understanding and environmental management.
