Job summary
Teal Energi is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) Manager to lead site safety across a major multi-building construction program in Hubbard, Texas. This field-based role requires strong OSHA knowledge, incident investigation, and corrective action implementation to maintain a proactive safety culture.
You will partner with construction management, subcontractors, and field personnel to implement the HSSE plan, oversee hazard analyses, and ensure compliance
Qualifications
- 8+ years of construction safety experience, including site leadership on complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and construction safety regulations.
- Experience with JHAs/AHAs, incident investigations, fall protection, lifting and rigging.
Responsibilities
- Implement and administer the project HSSE plan to OSHA and client requirements.
- Provide hands-on safety leadership across active construction areas.
- Collaborate with management, superintendents, and subcontractors to integrate safety into daily planning.
- Monitor safety performance and drive continuous improvement through coaching and observations.
- Communicate safety expectations and corrective actions to project leadership and field personnel.
