Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of hands-on environmental and safety experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or transportation.
• Certifications in safety (CSP) or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and liability coverage as per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of prevention-focused HSE and security programs aligned with Sysco objectives.
• Develop and execute HSE strategy to reduce injuries, incidents, and costs.
• Communicate goals with Senior Leadership and support site management in plan execution.
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Interface with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state/local regulators; ensure permits and reports are filed.
• Design training programs and establish audits to monitor regulatory compliance.
• Drive zero-incident culture and develop metrics to track progress and accountability.
