Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a senior HSE professional to support a new Houston manufacturing site. The role focuses on contractor safety management, CSMP oversight, and compliance with OSHA standards during capital projects. The candidate will guide project teams and lead incident investigations as needed.

Responsibilities include training, field execution inspections, risk assessment, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while coordinating with GFD and corporate HSE teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HSE experience with construction capital projects.
• Experience supporting contractor safety management programs and PTW systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of GFD’s Contractor Safety Management Program (CSMP).
• Manage relationships with Safety Advisor(s) or partners.
• Serve as SME for HSE documents and standards.
• Coach project teams on CSMP compliance.
• Provide training on CSMP.
• Lead investigations and RCA of incidents.
• Apply technical HSE skills at a network/global level.
• Ensure alignment with corporate priorities and standards.
