Job summary

Veriforce is hiring an HSE Specialist in Houston to design and mature contractor risk management programs, aligning with OSHA regulations and industry standards. You will assess safety performance, benchmark data, and deliver trainings to improve contractor safety across multiple industries.

You’ll collaborate with clients to close gaps in compliance and risk management while staying current on OSHA developments and safety trends. This role requires travel and strong client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (HSE, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Risk Management) or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in HSE with contractor risk management, compliance, and safety auditing.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and risk management frameworks.
• Experience presenting to clients and developing written safety resources.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and mature contractor risk management programs aligned with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to evaluate safety performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Benchmark contractor performance metrics and provide actionable insights to clients.
• Develop and deliver trainings, presentations, and resources to support contractor safety programs.
• Partner with clients to close gaps in compliance, safety performance, and risk management.
• Stay informed on OSHA developments and industry trends to enhance service offerings.
