Job summary

Veriforce in Houston is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to help clients develop world-class safety and risk management programs, enhancing contractor performance and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple industries.

You will translate complex OSHA and safety regulations into actionable strategies, provide guidance for onboarding and training, and deliver practical resources to improve operations and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HSE with contractor risk management and safety audits.
• Safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, CHST or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk management.
• Experience in presenting and writing high-quality resources.
• Bachelor’s in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiar with AI-driven risk management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and mature contractor risk management programs aligned with OSHA and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits of contractor safety performance.
• Benchmark contractor performance; provide actionable insights.
• Recommend HSE solutions for contractor management.
• Analyze data to identify trends and inform safety decisions.
• Guide integration of risk management into onboarding and training.
• Develop tailored action plans to close compliance gaps.
• Deliver presentations, trainings, and written resources.
• Establish robust HSE protocols to enhance safety.
• Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
• Stay updated on OSHA developments and industry trends.
