Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior HRIS Manager to join our People Technology team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our Workday system. The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting, configuring Workday modules, and providing exceptional support to end-users. You will play a key role in system upgrades, enhancements, and the implementation of new features while aligning technical solutions with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the subject matter expert for Workday modules: Compensation & Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Talent & Performance, Peakon, Learning, and Core HCM.
- Support Workday end users by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues.
- Evaluate application effectiveness and recommend design and configuration changes.
- Lead change management to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technology.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions for Workday.
- Manage deployment of feature releases and optimize Workday use.
- Provide production support, including ticket triage and troubleshooting.
- Participate in Phase X implementations with minimal disruption.
- Recommend process improvements to streamline HR operations.
- Train and support HR staff on system features and best practices.
- Prepare documentation and training materials.
- Stay updated on HR technology trends and recommend enhancements.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of experience in Workday HCM, especially in Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, and Absence Management.
- Experience with Phase X system implementations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and HRIS design.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to manage change.
