Job summary

Fresno EOC is hiring an HR Technician to support a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits and leave administration, HRIS, and compliance. The role involves data entry, reporting, and acting as a point of contact for staff and managers in a fast-paced setting.

Entry to intermediate level with opportunities to handle simple to complex tasks, escalating issues by risk and impact. This is a full-time 12-month position based in Fresno, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources or related field.
• Professional HR knowledge and experience in HR processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports recruitment processes: posting requisitions, scheduling interviews, reference checks, and offer letters.
• Assists with benefits enrollment, leaves, and HRIS data entry.
• Responds to employee inquiries on benefits, leaves, and policy questions.
• Maintains HR records, prepares reports, and assists with policy communications.
• Supports employee relations and investigations under supervision.
• Assists with training, compliance, and annual HR trainings.
