Job summary

GFiber is seeking an HR Application Engineer to own and evolve the Hire-to-Retire technology landscape, serving as the primary tech partner to HR, Payroll, and Business Operations. You will drive transformation and scalable solutions across the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate combines HR process expertise with application engineering skills to support, optimize, and improve HR platforms, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience supporting Workday HR platforms.
Experience with Hire-to-Retire business processes and HR operations.
Experience customizing, configuring and supporting Workday HCM or similar enterprise HR platforms.
Experience with HR integrations, data management, and system administration.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the Hire-to-Retire technology landscape for the HR ecosystem.
Partner with HR leadership to align the HR technology roadmap.
Drive standardization, automation, and redesign of HR processes.
Own integrations and secure data flows between HR systems, Payroll, Finance, and Identity Management.
Lead system testing, deployments, and change management for platform updates.
