Job summary

City and County of Honolulu is seeking a Human Resources Specialist IV in Honolulu to independently plan, coordinate, and perform recruitment and staffing activities for the Honolulu Board of Water Supply. The role handles complex HR tasks including investigations, grievance handling, performance management and accommodations.

The position requires three years of progressively responsible HR management experience and a bachelor's degree in HR or related field, with knowledge of employment laws

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible HR management experience.
• Knowledge of local and federal employment laws, rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: oversee recruitments, candidate screening, onboarding and staffing compliance.

• Labor relations: conduct investigations, manage grievances, advise on accommodations and performance management.
