Texas Juvenile Justice Department is seeking an HR Specialist III for Facility HR support. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and related HR programs at a juvenile care facility. The role requires strong policy knowledge, communication, and the ability to work with CAPPS/PeopleSoft systems.

The position may involve overtime and travel up to 10% and requires adherence to safety standards and state regulations. A bachelor’s degree and HR experience are preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required with HR-related functions.
• Experience or substitutions acceptable per state policies.
• Familiarity with CAPPS or Taleo and payroll systems.

Responsabilidades

• Administer HR programs: recruitment, onboarding, benefits.
• Assist timekeeping, compensation, employee relations, and workers’ compensation.
• Coordinate hiring and onboarding for positions; conduct references.
• Advise staff on recruitment, leave, and HR policies.
• Maintain HR records and reports; ensure compliance with laws.
