Job summary

The Food and Drug Administration is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement/Executive Resources) at the AD-0201-C level (GS-13) under Title 21 pay provisions. This on-site opportunity is based in North Bethesda, Maryland.

The successful candidate will provide staffing and recruitment advisory services, advise senior leadership on HR matters, coordinate rating and ranking panels, and prepare announcements and salary submissions in support of SES and SL/ST personnel.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate six (6) years of qualifying experience: staffing and recruitment advisory, interpreting and applying HR laws, advising senior leadership, coordinating rating/ranking panels, preparing vacancy announcements, compensation analyses, and salary recommendations, processing personnel actions, and recruitment submissions.
• Experience in executive resources supporting SES, SL/ST, and SBRBPAS personnel is preferred. Transcript documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide staffing and recruitment advisory and technical services.
• Advise senior leadership on HR matters and coordinate rating and ranking panels.
• Prepare vacancy announcements and conduct compensation analyses.
• Prepare recruitment, relocation, and retention incentive submissions.
