Job summary

Ross Stores seeks an HR Program Delivery Manager to lead complex cross-functional HR projects and act as an internal consultant. You will manage vendor-led workstreams, build stakeholder alignment, and drive adoption of core project management practices within HR.

The role reports to the Sr. Director, Program Delivery and oversees direct reports and third-party vendors, delivering strategic company initiatives including organizational and system changes.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years management consulting or project management experience.
• Exceptional verbal, written, executive presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented.
• Excellent analytical skills and conceptual thinking.
• Self-motivated; comfortable working with ambiguity.
• Outstanding work ethic with a high level of trust and integrity; urgency in delivering high‑quality work.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results with a customer focus in mind.
• Demonstrated ability to cope with pressure, changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning all projects.
• Expertise in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Responsibilities

• Manage large and complex projects throughout the entire lifecycle, coordinating vendors, internal teams, and other units.
• Serve as liaison and SME for HR initiatives; collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Review program strategy and drive continuous improvement of business processes.
• Perform business analysis at strategic, operational, and organizational levels.
• Evaluate and manage vendor partnerships.
• Contribute to strategic planning, monthly status reporting, budgeting, and special projects.
• Manage recruitment, retention, and career development of staff
