Job summary

Moderna is seeking an Associate Director, Human Resources Business Partner to support Digital, Finance, and Legal. You will shape talent, capability, and organizational strategies to enable Moderna's pipeline and future growth.

You will partner with leaders to translate priorities into actionable workforce plans, coach leadership, and drive core HR processes while adapting HR approaches to each client group. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting Digital, Finance, and Legal or similar complex functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic HR advisor to leaders and managers across Digital, Finance, and Legal.
• Partner with leaders to assess talent and capability gaps and translate insights into workforce strategies.
• Shape the talent agenda and anticipate capability needs for pipeline advancements.
• Coach leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and performance.
• Drive core talent processes including performance management, succession planning, and engagement.
• Plan workforce and organizational design with HR colleagues to align with business needs.
• Develop understanding of client groups' unique talent needs and adapt HR approaches.
• Lead HR initiatives on organizational change, scaling, and policy improvements.
• Advise on complex employee relations matters with policy compliance.
• Balance strategic partnership with hands-on execution to move quickly when needed.
• Demonstrate curiosity and a learning mindset to internalize unfamiliar business domains.
• Monitor HR processes and trends to improve effectiveness and employee experience.
• Support programs that build inclusive, high-performing teams and leverage digital tools.
