Job summary

Glass Meadows is seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources to serve as the principal internal HR advisor to leadership, managers and employees across multiple NJ locations. This hands-on role focuses on workforce planning, talent development and employee relations while coordinating with a PEO for payroll, benefits and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR or other professional certification highly regarded.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive HR experience as an HR business partner or senior HR generalist; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience coaching managers and advising leadership on performance and employee relations.
• Experience supporting hourly, frontline and salaried employees across locations.
• Experience with PEOs, outsourced HR providers or benefits brokers preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NJ employment laws, wage-hour requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership on workforce and organizational implications of business decisions.
• Provide practical coaching on communication, attendance, performance and development.
• Coordinate with PEO for payroll, benefits, HRIS, leave administration and compliance.
• Lead workforce planning, staffing needs and succession planning.
• Develop policies and ensure consistent policy application across locations.
• Manage employee relations, investigations and corrective actions.
• Travel weekly among Glass Meadows locations in New Jersey.
