Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, seeks a Senior HR leader for the Canton Business Unit to translate business strategy into an integrated people agenda across talent, workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.

The role leads general HR delivery for the unit, advises executives, and partners with HR resources to drive leadership development, performance, and change initiatives across multiple sites and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience with broad Generalist responsibility.
• Experience independently managing employee relations, investigations, corrective actions and terminations; labor relations preferred for union environments.
• Strong capability in talent management, succession planning, performance management and workforce planning.
• Strong business acumen and ability to link people decisions to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR partner to the BU President and leadership team; translate business strategy into people strategies.
• Develop and execute the BU HR plan across talent, succession, and workforce planning.
• Lead employee and labor relations matters, including investigations and actions.
• Coach leaders on leadership effectiveness, policy application, and workforce decisions.
• Lead talent agenda: reviews, succession planning, and development.
• Partner on organizational design and workforce deployment to support business strategy.
• Manage significant business change including restructurings and integrations.
• Use workforce analytics to identify trends and inform actions.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to set recruiting priorities for critical roles.
