Job summary

Fisher Phillips LLP is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations, support strategic initiatives, and guide managers and employees. You will drive performance management, compliance, and process improvements in a complex multi-state environment.

The role requires 7–10 years of HR experience, strong leadership, and HRIS proficiency. You will partner with HR leadership on initiatives and mentor a team to deliver exceptional internal client service. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7–10 years progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a multi-state professional services environment.
• At least five (5) years of experience leading, coaching, and developing HR professionals, including responsibility for performance management,employee development, and team leadership.
• Experience managing HR operations and employee lifecycle processes in a complex organization.
• At least three (3) years of experience utilizing HRIS platforms and HR technology to support HR operations, reporting, and process improvements.
• Professional Human Resources certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Operations members and set performance expectations.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and HR administration.
• Manage firmwide performance management and merit review processes, including communications and training for managers.
• Advise employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and performance management.
• Develop and improve HR processes, workflows, and automation for efficiency and scale.
• Partner with HR leadership on strategic initiatives and technology enhancements.
• Analyze HR metrics and reporting to support business decisions.
• Support engagement and retention initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; conduct audits of HR records.
