Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC seeks a Manager, Human Resources to align HR strategies with business goals and partner with site leadership. You will be a key advisor to the Plant Manager and HR team, driving employee relations, program development, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead recruitment, onboarding, performance coaching, and training initiatives while upholding safety and a strong company culture. This role requires 5+ years in HR management and a Bachelor's in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration or a related field is required.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a human resources manager or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and safe practices.
• Collaborates with site and senior leadership to develop HR strategies and acts as a thought partner to Plant Manager on key personnel issues.
• Develops and implements HR policies to ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
• Addresses employee issues to promote a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversees timekeeping and coordinates with Payroll to ensure accurate payments and deductions.
• Coordinates new hire orientation and supports local recruitment efforts.
• Coaches managers during performance appraisals and assists in development and progress of improvement plans.
• Coordinates training needs and evaluates training programs.
• Promotes engagement initiatives and community relations.
