Job summary

CFS in the Greater Holland, MI area is seeking a Senior HR Manager to join its leadership team. This full-time, onsite role offers a clear path to an HR Director position and a chance to influence culture across a 1,500+ employee organization.

You will partner with executives on compensation, workforce planning, and organizational development, lead investigations, safety programs, and policy updates, while shaping the employee experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with exposure to employee relations and leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, investigations, and employee relations.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting compensation, safety, training, and organizational development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations efforts including investigations, actions, and policy interpretation.
• Manage workplace safety programs, compliance initiatives, and workers' compensation activities.
• Partner with senior leaders on compensation, performance, planning, and development.
• Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook programs.
• Support leadership development, engagement, training, and succession planning.
• Advise leaders and staff on HR best practices and employment law.
