Job summary

Norsk Hydro in Cassopolis, MI is seeking an HR leader to develop organizational capability and drive workforce planning. You will lead performance initiatives, manage compensation and oversee recruitment at the plant level, while shaping onboarding, succession and employee relations programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of human resource management experience in manufacturing.
• PHR and/or SHRM-SCP credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop organizational competency through needs assessments and workforce planning.
• Lead performance management initiatives and monitor evaluation programs.
• Oversee local compensation programs and wage surveys to stay competitive.
• Manage recruitment at plant level and develop engagement strategies.
• Design onboarding, career-path and succession programs; provide employee relations counseling.
• Advise management on HR policies and compliance and maintain records.
