Job summary

Disability Resource Network (DRN) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee employee relations, HR compliance, and policy development across multiple locations in Connecticut. The role focuses on complex employee matters, workplace investigations, and guidance to management, with an administrative assistant supporting daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent significant HR experience may be considered.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional HR experience.
• Experience handling employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Strong knowledge of federal and Connecticut employment laws.
• Ability to travel between DRN locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters and escalated concerns.
• Conduct fair, objective, and well-documented workplace investigations.
• Provide HR guidance and coaching to program managers, supervisors, and leadership.
• Oversee compliance with applicable federal and Connecticut employment laws and regulations.
• Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain personnel records and confidentiality of HR documentation.
• Support recruitment, job descriptions, and workforce planning as needed.
• Manage leave, accommodations, and benefits oversight.
