Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with ownership of benefits administration, leave management, and HR compliance.
• Strong expertise in multi-state employment laws, including FMLA, ACA, COBRA, I-9 compliance, and state leave regulations.
• Experience administering payroll and benefits programs, plus employment-based immigration in partnership with external vendors and legal counsel.
• Advanced experience with ADP Workforce Now; Employee Navigator is a plus.
• SHRM-CP/SCP, CEBS, or related HR certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end benefits administration and vendor management across states.
• Lead administration of leave programs (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, state leaves) with compliant, positive employee experience.
• Ensure multi-state employment compliance and monitor regulatory changes across states.
• Oversee I-9, ACA reporting, documentation, audits and required trainings.
• Assist payroll operations for exempt and non-exempt employees across states.
• Support immigration cases in partnership with outside counsel and communicate with employees.
• Ensure HRIS data integrity and accurate benefits/file feeds.
• Advise leaders on benefits, leave, policies and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce risk and build scalable People Operations processes.
• Serve as operational backup to Senior Director of People for key initiatives.
