Job summary

Plymouth Housing in the Greater Seattle Area is seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead day-to-day human resources operations for a workforce of 500+ employees in a unionized environment.

You will partner with the Director of HR to translate strategy into practices across labor relations, compensation, benefits, HR systems, compliance, and performance management, while building manager capability and improving the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Eight years HR experience with four in supervisory or leadership roles.
• Experience supporting a unionized workforce.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or related field.
• Preferred HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team, set expectations and deliver cohesive support.
• Oversee daily HR operations including onboarding, performance, and offboarding.
• Support labor and employee relations and oversee collective bargaining administration.
• Strengthen compliance, reporting, leave, and accommodation practices.
• Direct total rewards administration and partner with payroll on wage requirements.
• Improve HR systems, data reporting, and streamlined workflows.
• Build manager capability and drive performance management improvements.
• Use data to identify trends and implement retention and engagement initiatives.
• Oversee HR operating budget and vendor contracts.
