Job summary

The Senior HR Generalist at Eaton’s IS AER FED division will provide broad HR support for a Jackson, MI production and salary employee population, handling union relations, staffing, payroll administration and other HR initiatives. The role collaborates with business leaders to drive Eaton’s goals and high performance culture.

Salary range guides are provided; relocation within the United States is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience OR a graduate of Eaton’s Leadership Development Program.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• ITAR compliance requires U.S. person status as defined by ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Deploy HR policies, practices and programs to manage talent and drive culture for the Jackson plant.
• Assess and select talent; train and coach managers on processes.
• Deploy local policies aligned with corporate values and ensure HR data integrity.
• Utilize HR metrics to gauge organizational health and effectiveness.
• Ensure onboarding and ongoing training for all employees.
• Conduct investigations and facilitate resolution of workplace issues.
• Coach managers through performance management processes and link to compensation and workforce planning strategies.
• Work with HR Manager on compensation, organizational development, and workforce planning.
• Manage local and corporate training initiatives at the site.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws in decision making.
