Job summary

First Quality, a family-owned manufacturer with locations in McElhattan, PA, seeks a Sr Human Resources Generalist for Nutek Disposables. You will partner with management to drive HR strategies, lead recruitment, evaluate compensation proposals, and manage benefits and training programs.

You will address employee relations, policy interpretation, and ensure compliance with employment laws. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of HR generalist

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• 5 years of successful performance as a Generalist and/or in another HR role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and labor regulations.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is preferred.
• PHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Develop recruitment strategies with hiring managers and determine compensation proposals.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all roles and participate in interviews and decisions.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide data-driven trends for retention improvements.
• Lead benefits processes and educate team members on programs and open enrollment.
• Assist with performance evaluation programs and training initiatives.
• Ensure policies comply with laws and guide managers on practices and training.
