Job summary

Gehl Food & Beverage is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to serve as a strategic and hands-on partner supporting Aseptic, Maintenance, and Engineering teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role drives employee relations, compliance, performance management, and talent initiatives while fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

The role requires 4+ years of progressive HR experience, strong knowledge of employment laws, and a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience (employee relations focus).
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance.
• Experience with investigations, performance management, and leave administration.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to support workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations.
• Lead investigations and resolve complex workplace issues.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage & hour).
• Manage leaves of absence and HR processes end-to-end; support hiring, onboarding, and talent decisions.
• Analyze HR metrics to drive business improvements.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and reporting.
• Champion employee engagement and culture initiatives.
• Provide HR support across a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
