Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 5+ years of HR experience required, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in labor relations including contract interpretation and grievance management.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (EEOC, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, FLSA, etc.).
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and new-hire orientation.
• Partner with managers and Corporate HR to meet workforce requirements and ensure consistent hiring practices.
• Provide guidance on performance management, policy interpretation, and employee development.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and compliance with state/federal laws.
• Administer benefits, leave programs, and maintain HRIS and personnel records.
• Support organizational development, performance reviews, and succession planning.
• Lead labor relations activities, including grievances and bargaining committee participation.
• Coordinate seasonal workforce processes and migrant labor compliance.
• Build positive relationships and uphold Lakeside's cultural values.
