Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to serve as a consultative partner to designated business groups, aligning people practices with business priorities and providing employee relations guidance and HR support throughout the employee lifecycle.

This position will be based in one of our western United States locations such as Seattle, WA; Lakewood, CO; Broomfield, CO, or Greenwood Village, CO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years progressive HR experience (required).
• Certification in related field (PHR/SHRM-CP etc.) preferred.
• Experience with compensation, laws, and HR processes (required).
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office tools (required).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead teams (required).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities (required).

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to translate workforce priorities into HR solutions.
• Coach managers on performance, expectations, and feedback.
• Utilize workforce data to inform decisions and identify trends.
• Conduct exit interviews and monitor engagement/retention.
• Provide employee relations support and conduct investigations.
• Prepare offers and review for appropriate salary/level.
• Ensure HR policy consistency and legal compliance.
• Support HR initiatives and projects.
