Job summary

Integra, a data center solutions company, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist in Houston. You will partner with leaders to deliver practical HR solutions, drive engagement, and support business performance in a fast-paced, technical environment.

The role focuses on HR operations, talent management, and analytics; you will lead onboarding, performance processes, and workforce planning while maintaining compliant, confidential records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years in progressive HR, preferably in manufacturing or technical ops.
  • Strong knowledge of ER, performance mgmt, talent acquisition, ops and compliance.
  • Experience handling workplace investigations and sensitive matters.
  • Familiar with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, UKG or Paycom.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers on HR policies, programs and employee matters.
  • Support site HR initiatives aligned with priorities and goals.
  • Build relationships with leaders to raise engagement and retention.
  • Guide through performance concerns, coaching and policy application.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and ensure audit readiness.
  • Assist with workforce planning, headcount, and staffing needs.
  • Support onboarding processes to integrate new hires quickly.

The Opportunity

The Senior Human Resources Generalist is a hands‑on HR partner who supports leaders and employees across a fast‑paced, highly technical operating environment. This role helps deliver practical people solutions that strengthen employee experience, improve team effectiveness, and support business performance. This role is responsible for facilitating weekly new hire orientation and will be a strategic partner for Managers. This position will also be very project driven.

What you will do?
HR Business Partnership
  • Partner with managers and employees on HR policies, programs, and employee‑related matters.
  • Support execution of HR initiatives aligned with site priorities, workforce needs, and business goals.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders to improve engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Serve as a key resource for employee relations matters, including fact‑finding, documentation, coaching, and resolution.
  • Guide leaders through performance concerns, corrective action, conflict resolution, and consistent policy application.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and audit‑ready employee records while supporting compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Assist with workforce planning, headcount tracking, organizational changes, and staffing needs for specialized roles.
  • Support onboarding practices that help employees integrate quickly and understand expectations.
Talent Management & Development
  • Support performance management, goal setting, feedback, development planning, and annual review processes.
  • Help identify development needs and partner with leaders on employee growth, internal mobility, and succession readiness.
  • Contribute to talent reviews and people initiatives that strengthen capability across the site.
HR Operations & Analytics
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and assist with reporting, workforce metrics, and people analytics.
  • Monitor trends such as turnover, attendance, staffing, and engagement to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support compensation, benefits, policy administration, HR projects, and process improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, logistics, data center, or technical operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, HR operations, and compliance.
  • Experience supporting workplace investigations, corrective action, and sensitive employee matters.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, UKG, Paycom, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of applicable labor and employment laws.
  • Strong communication, coaching, judgment, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with employees and leaders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual Spanish‑English communication skills preferred.
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP.
  • Experience in a start‑up, high‑growth, mission‑critical, or high‑volume operational environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use workforce data to guide decisions.
  • Experience supporting organizational change, restructures, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and confidentiality when handling sensitive matters.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to simplify HR processes and improve service delivery.
