Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• 5+ years of broad HR experience with strong attention to detail and relationship skills.

About This Role:

We are looking to add a Senior HR Generalistthat is a self-starter and eager to roll up their sleeves to support a growing team!This role willwork closely with the owner and willmanage the day-to-day aspects of the HR functiontosupport employees across the employee lifecyclewhich includescompliance, recruitment, onboarding,compensation,performance management, and culture. Specifically in this role you will:

• First and foremost, align to our core valuesas an organization
• Use your bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred),5+ years of broad HR experience, strong attention to detail and relationship building skills to execute daily HR activities. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Understand business needs and compliance with federal,stateand local employment laws and regulations to employ HR best practices
• Create an engaging candidate experienceby managing the employee hiring and staffing processes which includes job postings, resume reviews,andinitial candidatescreeningtostrengthen the talent pipelineand support the organization through its growth
• Enhance the employee experience by designing and implementing impactful orientation,onboardingand offboardingexperiences
• Support the payroll processing team by ensuring employee data, timekeeping, and compensation changes areaccurate
• Establish credibility throughout the organization to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues by taking time to get to know our employees on a personal level and serve as an internal consultant to other leaders within the organization to lead, advise and mediate employee relations situations and corrective actions to ensure fairness and consistency
• Continually evaluate policies and programs todetermineany gaps, and remain competitive within the industry to ensure apositive,inclusiveand professional workplace culture andexperiencefor current and prospective employees
