Job summary

Lion Care in Tampa seeks an experienced Human Resources Director to lead the HR Department in alignment with federal, state, and local standards. You will ensure hiring, training, performance management, and policy development meet regulatory requirements while supporting resident care excellence.

You will supervise staff, oversee wage and salary administration, benefits, compliance, and reporting, and collaborate with administrators to plan staffing and respond to regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in Human Resources Administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Human Resources Department.
• Develop and maintain written job descriptions and performance evaluations for staff.
• Oversee recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• Administer payroll, wage and salary administration, and benefits policies.
• Maintain confidential personnel records and comply with privacy regulations.
• Provide regular reports and recommendations to the Administrator.
• Ensure safety, OSHA compliance, and proper handling of labor-related documentation.
