Job summary

Cohere is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to help scale the company through a major growth phase. You’ll partner with GTM leadership and senior teams, advising on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and talent strategy in a fast-scaling, globally distributed environment.

You’ll support senior technical leaders, drive succession planning, and help improve organizational health and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Senior Director-equivalent BP experience, Head of People experience at a smaller company, or similar IC7+ scope.
• Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing or similar organizations.
• Understand hypergrowth — working in startup, scale-up, or rapidly scaling environments.
• Global exposure — supported distributed organizations across multiple countries or regions.
• Excellent written communication in asynchronous environments.
• Ability to build trust through credibility, judgment and relationships over time.

This is a strategic People leadership role partnering closely with our GTM organization and senior leaders inside one of the world’s leading AI companies. You’ll support leaders across organizational design, leadership effectiveness, talent strategy, succession planning, and organizational health in a fast-scaling, globally distributed environment. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. $130,000 - $240,000 USD
