MACOM, a global leader in semiconductor solutions, seeks a Senior HR Business Partner to guide HR strategy across CA, AZ, OR, and TX. The role partners with senior leaders to enable organizational capability, drive talent development, performance management, and compliant policy execution onsite in Morgan Hill, CA.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in HR, manufacturing/semi experience preferred, and superb leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Position Overview:

An experienced Sr. HR Business Partner will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate on a broad range of HR services. As a multi‑site lead in California, Arizona, Oregon, and Texas the Sr. HRBP will ensure legal compliance and implementation of MACOM’s mission and talent strategy.

Position Location:

Morgan Hill, CA (this is an onsite position with some flexibility)

Sites Supporting:

Santa Clara, CA, Morgan Hill, CA, Newport Beach, CA, Mesa, AZ, Plano, TX, and Hillsboro, OR.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with senior leaders and managers to build organizational capability by utilizing the range of strategic people related HR processes, including talent management, performance management and resource planning.
  • Provide in-depth advice, coaching and guidance to senior leaders and managers on strategic HR policies and procedures to ensure that are supported in their roles as people managers.
  • Facilitate and drive strategic discussions with the business leaders on organization design and structure.
  • Work with the leadership team to put in place proactive talent management plans (skills/leadership development and Succession Planning).
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provide day‑to‑day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
  • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS) management system.
  • Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of human resource management experience required.
  • Manufacturing and or Semi‑Conductor Experience preferred.
Travel:

25% - site visits to Santa Clara, Newport Beach, Mesa, AZ and other locations

RSU Eligible

This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM’s discretion, subject to individual and company performance.

Salary Range

The Salary Range for this position is $146,000 – $170,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
