Job summary

RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR analytics lead responsible for building Workday reports and dashboards that reveal actionable insights for HR business partners and centers of excellence.

You will govern data quality, translate complex metrics into clear recommendations, and collaborate with HR, Compliance, IT, and analytics teams to support regulatory requirements and auditable reporting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience influencing HR analytics and reporting strategies in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Deep technical expertise in Workday reporting, advanced calculated fields, and dashboard design.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, regulatory standards, and data governance.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable business outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or professional HR/Analytics certifications preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in HR technology, Workday reporting, or related fields.
  • Experience leading enterprise data compliance initiatives and regulatory support.

Job description

Builds Workday reports leveraging simple and advanced calculated fields and designs dashboards to find useful insights that lead to impactful business decisions. Manages data to ensure accurate data capture and manipulation to facilitate meaningful measurement and reporting. Translates complex information into actionable insights for HR Business partners and centers of excellence to make evidence-based decisions. Monitors and maintains the quality and integrity of HR data in reports and dashboards, adhering to data governance and compliance standards and ensures accuracy and quality assurance in all deliverables. Influence the Analytics StrategyDrive Reporting Solutions: Support the design and implementation of advanced reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to better understand employees and make effective organizational decisions. Build Advanced Analytics: Build Workday reports leveraging simple and advanced calculated fields and design interactive dashboards to find useful insights that lead to impactful business decisions. Translate Complex Data: Translate complex information and metrics into clear, actionable insights for HR Business Partners and centers of excellence to make evidence-based decisions. Govern Data & Process IntegrityManage Data Optimization: Manage data workflows to ensure accurate data capture, manipulation, and optimization to facilitate meaningful measurement and tracking. Maintain Quality & Governance: Monitor and maintain the integrity of HR data across all reports and dashboards, create and document data definitions of HR fields resulting in the creation of a data dictionary. Optimize Reporting Processes: Identify and implement continuous improvements to reporting processes to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of reporting, review all existing calculated fields and custom reports to develop a Report Repository. Elevate Governance & Cross-Functional ComplianceEnsure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all reporting aligns seamlessly with regulatory requirements, including OFCCP, federal/state mandates, and internal policies, supporting formal audits and compliance initiatives. Collaborate with Centers of Excellence: Collaborate closely with cross-functional HR, Compliance, IT, and Enterprise Analytics teams to gather intricate reporting requirements and address evolving reporting needs.

What You Bring
  • Proven experience influencing HR analytics and reporting strategies in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Deep technical expertise in Workday reporting, including advanced calculated fields, matrix reports, and custom dashboard design.
  • Thorough understanding of HR compliance requirements, regulatory standards, and corporate data governance protocols.
  • Analytical mindset with a proven track record of manipulating complex data sets and translating them into tangible business outcomes.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, partner across HR, IT, and Analytics teams, and translate raw data into clear business strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree or professional HR/Analytics certifications preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in HR technology, Workday reporting, compliance analytics, or related fields.
  • Experience leading enterprise-level data compliance initiatives and supporting regulatory requirements from concept through delivery.
  • Experience with Databricks, PowerBI, or similar tools strongly preferred.
