Job summary

Intelliforce-IT Solutions Group is seeking a Systems Engineer to design the next generation of high-performance compute environments for CNO development. You will shape roadmaps, create reusable patterns, and connect legacy systems to modern HPC platforms while ensuring security and performance.

The role blends systems engineering, infrastructure modernization, and technical strategy, offering tangible impact, visibility, and opportunities within a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, active
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizen; visa sponsorship not available
• 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a Bachelor’s degree
• Strong background in corporate services and stakeholder management
• 5+ years of deep systems engineering and cloud architecture experience
• Hands-on HPC experience in production environments
• Experience leading infrastructure modernization and technical transformations
• Familiarity with agency-specific cloud compliance nuances, particularly ATO processes

Responsibilities

• Design the technical roadmap for next-generation HPC environments supporting CNO development
• Build reusable patterns and templates for new compute and LLM solutions
• Architect end-to-end solutions connecting legacy systems with modern HPC environments
• Assess existing infrastructure, document dependencies, and prioritize modernization based on mission impact
• Design modern developer workflows and improve interactions with development environments
• Partner with stakeholders to align technical direction with mission goals and long-term strategy
• Support CI/CD and platform design decisions for scalable, reliable future environments
