Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking an HPC Systems Engineer in NYC/Chicago to own performance and reliability of a high-end HPC estate. You will manage SLURM scheduling, storage, networking, and hardware, delivering low-latency compute for research and trading teams.

You'll automate root-cause analysis, implement end-to-end infrastructure improvements, and act as the technical face to external vendors and exchanges. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role in a tight-knit, outcome-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HPC sysadmin/architecture experience.
• Experience with RHEL/CentOS/Rocky Linux.
• Strong Python scripting skills.
• Able to liaise with external vendors and exchanges.
