Job summary

Peraton seeks a skilled Systems Engineer to support a large HPC program, covering test planning, architecture design, prototyping, and vendor collaboration. Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Education and Experience requirements as listed in the posting: High School Diploma or GED with 14 years of systems engineering experience; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 10 years; Master's or PhD with 8 years.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of systems engineering documentation (System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, Interface Control Documents).
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure production systems align with defined architectures (DoDAF, SOA).
• Allocate requirements to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
• Analyze technical alternatives and make preliminary recommendations.
• Assist in developing innovative approaches to technical issues.
• Conduct evaluations to determine project suitability for implementation.
• Propose engineering standards and processes for projects.
• Supervise or coordinate work of other contractor engineers or technicians.
