Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Communications System SME (HPC) in Virginia to provide technical advisory support for SI/SETA activities. The role interfaces with customers, developers, and end users to ensure robust requirements, development, testing, and deployment of HPC capabilities.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, draft analyses, and guide planning for security, reliability, and interoperability for classified environments, with on-site work Monday through Friday and

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, IT; 12 years experience; or master’s with 10 years; additional four years in lieu of degree.
• Experience with Intel or Defense industries.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams, educate others in HPC.
• Benchmarking and testing on HPC workloads including OpenFOAM, Linpack.
• Experience with CUDA and a variety of HPC workloads; Windows environments; scripting; cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy, guidance, and resource advocacy on technical, operational and analysis support.
• Serve as Technical Advisor/Consultant to SI/SETA activities and interface with customers and stakeholders.
• Lead and manage project teams and initiatives.
• Develop plans for security, reliability and business continuity for classified customers.
• Balance equities and operational considerations across multiple projects.
• Support deployment of technical capabilities and customer training.
