Job summary

Peraton seeks a skilled Systems Engineer to support a large HPC program focused on architecture design, prototyping, and vendor collaboration. The role spans planning, requirements, and DoDAF-aligned system architecture to ensure production readiness.

The candidate develops SE documentation, analyzes alternatives, and coordinates teams to deliver integrated solutions for a national security program, with opportunities for growth and exposure to cutting-edge HPC initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of SE experience, or
• Master's or PhD with 8+ years of SE experience.
• Experience with high reliability DoD architectures and DoDAF is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to development of system engineering docs (SEPs, ICDs, Requirements specs).
• Manages system requirements to align with DoDAF and SOA architectures.
• Allocates requirements to hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components.
• Analyzes technical alternatives and recommends viable options.
• Supports innovative approaches to engineering issues.
• Evaluates project suitability for implementation.
• Proposes engineering standards and processes for projects.
• Supervises or coordinates other engineers or technicians on the project.
