Qualifications

• Masters with 2+ years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education.
• Two or more years of Linux administration experience.
• Experience with High Performance Computing Systems, including hardware and software installation and maintenance, scheduling, storage, file systems, and high-performance interconnects.
• Proficiency with C/C++, Java, R, Python, Bash, and/or other scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal administrator for the university’s first HPC cluster.
• Oversee technical management and planning of the equipment.
• Collaborate with faculty and students to facilitate their research mission.
