Ctrl+ is seeking an experienced HPC/Test Engineer to lead testing, evaluation and integration of a high-performance computing software stack at our Annapolis Junction, MD site. The role focuses on diagnosing root causes, automating configurations with Salt and Ansible, and managing computational workloads with Slurm.

Candidates should have a strong Linux toolkit, scripting in Bash and Python, and hands-on HPC experience with Lustre/GPFS/Panasas, InfiniBand/Slingshot, and HPC benchmarking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (a Master’s may substitute for 2 years).
• Strong Linux command-line proficiency and scripting.
• Experience with Slurm workload manager and HPC systems.

Responsibilities

• Test, evaluate and integrate the HPC software stack.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on HPC systems.
• Manage workloads with Slurm.
• Automate configuration with Salt and Ansible.
• Diagnose root causes and drive mitigations.
