Job summary

Red Arch Solutions seeks a Software Integration Engineer to test, evaluate, integrate, and troubleshoot the HPC software stack on a priority program in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Ideal candidates will have deep Linux CLI experience, Bash/Python scripting, Slurm knowledge, and hands-on HPC system administration. A TS/SCI clearance is required, with potential for high-impact work on scalable HPC solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and tools.
• Scripting in Bash and Python for automation.
• Strong understanding of Slurm and HPC job scheduling.
• Experience integrating, evaluating, and administering HPC systems.
• Troubleshooting HPC software stacks and hardware.
• Familiar with IaC and automation tools (Salt, Ansible).
• Familiar with HPC shared file systems (Lustre, GPFS, Panasas).
• Familiar with monitoring tools (Ganglia, Nagios).
• Knowledge of GPU, FPGA, ASIC acceleration tech.
• Experience with InfiniBand or Slingshot networking.
• Familiar with open-source HPC benchmark tools.
• Analytical approach to root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Test, evaluate, integrate, and troubleshoot the HPC software stack.
• Support test and evaluation on heterogeneous HPC environments.
• Provide system administration for HPC components.
• Resolve software stack and hardware issues with a rigorous method.
• Collaborate on automation and deployment using IaC tools.
