Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a Server Administrator 4 to lead and support IT operations for HPC environments. You will design, configure and maintain Linux and Windows systems, storage and backup solutions, and coordinate deployments with project teams.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, on-call support, and contributing to security and documentation. A strong background in enterprise IT, virtualization, and high-availability systems is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field; or 16 years of related full-time work experience.
• Minimum 12 years in complex IT environments with enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Professional certification (MCSE, VCAP, RHCE or similar) required.
• Expert Linux and network understanding in large, high availability environments.
• Experience with virtualization platforms, enterprise NAS, backup software, and SAN technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, troubleshoot and maintain Linux systems.
• Design, configure, troubleshoot and maintain Windows systems for HPC environments.
• Maintain core internal storage, backup, and recovery systems.
• Troubleshoot HPC issues in Linux/Windows; coordinate deployments and maintenance.
• Provide remote support and on-call rotation as required.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with stakeholders clearly.
