Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Senior HPC Linux Software Engineer to join an on-site Technical User Support team in Colorado Springs. The role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph to start and involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to advance HPC modeling and simulation capabilities.

The engineer will support HPC users, develop software for Linux environments, perform code reviews, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related discipline.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required to start.
• Proficiency in Fortran, C, and/or C++.
• Linux OS proficiency and scripting ability (BASH/Korn shell).
• Experience with HPC modeling, simulation, and user-support workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support HPC users through modeling and simulation workflows on Linux systems.
• Develop, maintain, and debug software in heterogeneous multi-platform Linux environments.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews and create training materials for HPC users.
