Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a hands-on HPC Linux Software Engineer based in Colorado Springs. This role focuses on supporting mission-critical R&D efforts in high-performance computing. You will resolve complex modeling and simulation challenges, develop and maintain Linux-based software, and guide junior engineers. Candidates should have TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, a relevant bachelor's degree, and at least 10 years of software engineering experience. This is an on-site position with emphasis on communication, problem-solving, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• ~5 years of experience developing modeling and simulation software.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support HPC users in a research and development environment.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based software for HPC.
• Collaborate closely with technical and customer teams.
• Provide training materials for users and internal staff.
