Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Senior HPC Linux Software Engineer to join an on-site Technical User Support team embedded within an HPC R&D program. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph to start and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will develop and maintain software in heterogeneous Linux environments, support end users through modeling and simulation workflows, perform code reviews, and deliver training workshops for HPC users and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in modeling and simulation software development in heterogeneous, multi-platform Linux environments.
• Knowledge of HPC technologies and user workflows for modeling and GUIs.
• Experience with code maintenance, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support HPC users by their modeling and simulation workflows on Linux.
• Develop and maintain software in multi-platform Linux environments.
• Analyze and debug existing codebases; follow SDLC with testing and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and design training materials for HPC users and staff.
