Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer with Linux system administration experience to support cloud and on-premise systems in a mission operations environment. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph post-hire.

You will contribute to the operation and sustainment of a geospatial intelligence solution for government end users. The successful candidate will lead system changes, coordinate with government contacts, and help maintain

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux system administration and provisioning end users.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Experience building and maintaining multi-node environments for parallel workloads.
• Knowledge of HPC tooling (Slurm, MPI) for HPC systems.
• Ability to review STIG/IAVA scans and remediate findings.
• Experience performing VM backups and snapshots.
• Experience with ISCP exercises and security documentation.
• Scripting for admin tasks and automation.

Responsibilities

• The Systems Engineer leads system changes and collaborates with government/contractor contacts.
• Troubleshoot issues and propose configuration improvements to boost performance.
• Maintain security compliance and produce operational and security docs.
• Support day-to-day sustainment of mission-critical infrastructure.
