Job summary

Wipro is seeking an HPC Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, and support High-Performance Computing environments on AWS. The role emphasizes Terraform IaC, Python automation, Linux administration, and scalable cloud-based compute clusters.

You will work with Slurm or similar schedulers, develop reusable modules, monitor performance, and contribute to CI/CD practices for infrastructure deployments. This is a remote US-based position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong HPC infrastructure/cluster engineering experience.
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience.
• Advanced Terraform/IaC skills.
• Strong Python scripting and automation experience.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Slurm or similar HPC schedulers.
• Knowledge of HPC compute, storage, and networking.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support scalable HPC environments on AWS.
• Build and manage compute clusters, networking, storage, and HPC workloads.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Use Python to automate provisioning, monitoring, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Support HPC schedulers such as Slurm or AWS Batch.
• Monitor and optimize cluster performance, availability, capacity, and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux, compute, storage, networking, and workload issues.
• Implement CI/CD and automation practices for infrastructure deployments.
