Job summary

Martek Global Services is seeking a Senior Facilities Management Specialist to support the DoW HPC Modernization Program at ERDC DSRC in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. This hands-on, senior role will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and optimize HVAC and mechanical systems in a 24/7 HPC and data center environment.

This position requires extensive HVAC experience, the ability to read drawings, and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance; Top Secret preferred.
• Extensive hands-on HVAC maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Strong experience with chilled-water systems, AHUs, pumps, VAVs, VFDs, and refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 facility ops.
• Experience supporting mission-critical HPC or large data center environments.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and facilities service providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for HPC and data center infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical facility infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, power distribution, generators).
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control-system issues.
• Support BAS and HVAC controls, troubleshoot alarms and sensors.
• Mentor facilities staff and guide reliability, redundancy, and performance improvements.
• Assist in contract administration, procurement, and lifecycle data for assets.
